Quick update and praise!! Clay and I are here with Bonnie and Kerry this afternoon. Ethan had a great night and is completely weaned from the epinephrine and 2 other blood pressure medications!!! God is so good. They are so excited because they got to touch his sweet hand and head this morning. The Lord has heard our prayers and is answering them. Keep praying for this precious baby and his family. I'll upload pictures tonight, when Bonnie emails them to me. They are so thankful for all the prayers and comments everyone is sending. Pray that they have another great day and check back later this evening for pics and an update!

  4. We're praying for you and your family. I've sent out prayer requests to everyone on my list. I know GOD is in control. Kerry, you don't know me, but you are an inspiration to me. I've seen you at Selma via the Upward B-ball program, and have admired you for quite a while. You are a great example of what we all should be doing. We will continue to pray for Ethan. GOD bless you, and your family.

  6. Kerry and Bonnie,
I added your blog to mine and asked for all of my blog followers to pray for you guys. I hope you didn't mind. I had one lady send me a link to another ladies blog whose son also had the same thing. She had him back in January so i have sent the link with the archive of January. Thought you may find some encouragement through a similar situation. Praise God for the answered prayer today and I pray that God will continue to show himself in that NICU.

  10. Hey Bonnie,

I am not sure if you remember me, but I lived with Rachel Crook. I delivered 13 weeks premature on 2/25/09. I was told he would not survive. I know this is the hardest time of your life, but KNOW God is in control and this is His plan for Ethan...know matter what. Tucker is now almost 7 months old and very healthy. Ethan is in his Father's hands. Trust in the Lord.
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
