Hey Kerry and Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are displaying a perfect example of how God wants his children to depend fully on Him! I pray that God continues to answer our prayers concerning Ethan and that many souls will be saved through this storm. Can't wait to have ya'll back home at Selma. It's not the same without ya'll there.
Love, P. Fowler
My precious friends,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your gift of Ethan Howell. He is so handsome! Please know that we are praying for you all. Thank you for letting everyone know how to pray specifically. I want to share a quote from Corrie ten Boom, "Don't wrestle, just nestle," referring to nestling in our faithful Father's arms. How comforting to know God is with you and is surrounding you with His grace. I so appreciate your testimonies. I am so blessed by your trust, faith, strength and humble spirits. But I know at the same time your hearts are so tender and must ache to watch baby Ethan struggle and miss your big girl, Helen. Our family is touching heaven for you all. We love you and can't wait to see you when we're in Dothan.
Praying continually,
Laura & Joey Noble
Bonnie and Kerry,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know that we love you and are continuing to pray for both of you, for Ethan, and for Helen. It is so comforting to know that God loves our children far, far more than we do.
During my prayer time this morning, God brought this verse to my mind while I was praying for you......Psalm 4:8 "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." I know you must be very tired, so I will be praying for peaceful sleep for you tonight.
Continue to trust in our Heavenly Daddy. He loves you so much.
Love, Michelle Henley
Kerry and Bonnie,
ReplyDeleteI just want you to know we continue to pray for you and little Ethan and Helen as you are going through this. I know God is w/ you and he has his hands on you all. He loves you as we all do. HE is taking care of little Ethan. God is good and awesome all of the time. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Kerry & Bonnie,
ReplyDeleteWe are so thankful Ethan has had a better day. I am praying without ceasing. So glad Helen is there with you for a bit, and I will be in prayer for her, too, that she will be happy and content spending some time with other family. Also praying specifically for Ethan's little lungs, the tiny air sacs inside, that they will remain open and gain strength every day. Also praying for weaning off meds to be tolerated well, and for O2 sats to stay up while weaning from osc. vent.
We are so thankful you got an apartment... a nice place to rest and a wonderful thing for when Helen is visiting.
Know that we love you and we are so thankful for baby steps towards coming home!
Love,
Jack and Kelly
We pray for you all everyday and I even have friends at school praying with me. Jerry does our prayers at supper times and he always remembers Ethan and yall. If you need anything please let us know. Our God is an amazing God. We love yall.
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you guys and your strength! You are an inspiration. Please let me know if there is anything you need. I know KAB said she is heading down there this weekend. I can have her pick up anything you need (groceries, supplies, whatever is needed). Praying for Ethan, so glad he is making progress every day. I have asked my friends here to pray for him and they are passing the prayer request on to their prayer chains. Love to you all!! Missy
ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie and Kerry!
ReplyDeleteI'm continuing to pray for you, Ethan, Helen, and the rest of the family and am spreading the word so others can join in on what God is doing in little Ethan's life. I sent the blog link to the BCF faculty yesterday and several commented to me that you were a very special family and they would continue to lift you up. (I warned them to get out the tissues when they read the postings!)
I'd like to share a couple of verses that really spoke to me yesterday: Psalm 94:18-19 "When I said, "My foot is slipping," Your love, O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought joy to my soul." Verse 22 goes on to say "..the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge."
I know that God has been the one in whom you are taking refuge and He's the one who is bringing consolation during this time. You and your family are missed at Selma and we look forward to the time when we can rejoice together over the great things that God is doing.
Love you!!
Cathy Bugg
Kerry and Bonnie, Phil and I want you to know that we are praying for your family constantly. I have observed both of you for several years, and I know how much you love God and how faithfully you have served Him. I pray that Ethan will continue to improve and I look forward to the time that you are back home with him (a healthy baby), and are in church. I would love to take care of him in the Nursery, same as I did Helen. We love you very much.

ReplyDeleteLove you guys...and continuing to pray today that he will be off the "jiggly" vent. very soon, on his way to C-pap and then room air with no setbacks!

Kerry and family,
ReplyDeleteI have just heard about your family. Our prayers are with your whole family. God is Good! We know He hears our prayers. You are right about Children's Hospital, it does Rock. We will keep all of you in our prayers and continue watching for updates!
Kerry and Bonnie, We have been praying for both today. This Morning in Sunday School we told our friends about what a sweet baby Boy God has given to you and that He hopefully getting better. And that he is the newest addition to Our Wonderful Williamson Family and Our entire Sunday school took a moment each to pray for sweet little Ethan. It is so comforting to know that God loves our children and WILL take the best care of them according to "HIS" Promise. we are anxiously awaiting his wellness We will be so excited to meet him and maybe when he is better and comes home, we could hold him for a while; this would be so special for us. Remember we love you and are praying for all good things for your little family. Aunt Janice & Uncle Jerome.
ReplyDeleteJeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
ReplyDeleteYou are in our thoughts and prayers daily.
