Kerry just called, please pray for Ethan because he is back on the ventilator. Even though this was expected, it is still a hard setback. The doctors and nurses said he was getting tired and was retaining some fluid. The vent will help give his little body rest and help with the fluid.
We can praise the Lord for the progress he has made in such a short amount of time.
Remember this is still going to be a long journey, so please continue to pray without ceasing.
Pray also for Mr. Norman, Mrs. Theresa, and Helen as they travel back home today.

Father, thank you for Ethan and his family. Jesus, thank you for all you do for us. Thank you for saving us and giving us a way to eternal life. You are a merciful, loving, powerful, and compassionate God. We pray that your will be done in and through Ethan and his family. Please touch his small body and give healing. Help him to get stronger every day, for his lungs, his blood pressure and gases to be perfect. Thank You, Father, that Ethan is fearfully and wonderfully made! Thank You, Jesus, that you knit him in his mother's womb and that You alone are His creator. Lord, be with Bonnie and Kerry as they cry to you daily for their son. You hold each tear in a bottle (Ps 56:8). Who could know their pain better than You, Father? Please continue to be their Rock, where they can take refuge(Ps 18:2). Be a shield about them and the lifter of their head (Ps 3:2)

ReplyDeleteBonnie and Kerry, the Lord has placed your precious little boy so strongly on my heart. I am praying several times every day for your strength and stamina and for his healing. Our sovereign God IS in control and He will accomplish His purposes. Love, Jo Barrett
ReplyDeletePlease know I am praying and thinking of your family! We are expecting a son in December and I can only imagine what you are going through. God is GOOD and he will take care of little Ethan. Love, Stacy Gantt Hodges
ReplyDeleteBe strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee, everywhere you go.

Kerry and Bonnie- You and Helen and baby Ethan are in our prayers. We can't wait to see how God uses this to strengthen you and bring glory to Himself. We pray that His strength will be made perfect in your weakness, because we know right now you are probably feeling helpless. The reality is that He is almighty and He is in control. Thank you Jesus in advance for what You are going to do.

Praying for your family!
ReplyDeleteBonnie and Kerry,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let both of you know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have also asked my dad to add Ethan to his church prayer list this Sunday so you will have all of his little church praying for him! Both of you mean so much to me and I know that God will heal Ethan.
Love,
Jill Tucker
