Update from Kerry

Ethan has had a very good last 24hrs. He is off most of his blood pressure meds and they have turned the oscillator down a lot. We anticipated going on reg ventilator in the next 24-36hrs. They have let him come off of the paralytic meds and he is moving his little hands and fingers...especially when his mom is around. I think he is already a mama's boy. Prayer request for today is continue to wean from oscillator and blood pressure to stay up. We are absolutely amazed at the power of all the prayers that are being prayed...keep them up. Bonnie and I love all of you and are praying for you also!!

  7. God is Good! Bonnie and Kerry we are praying for little Ethan and your family daily! My niece Addison Hendrix was diagnosed with the same thing 3 years ago this past Sunday Sept. 13th, was treated in Birmingham and is a beautiful 3 year old today with no problems and is in the same class as Helen at First United Methodist. We are sooo happy that Ethan is doing well while weening off the medication and we are thanking the Lord for this and asking for continued blessings upon Ethan and your family.
Sending lots of Love and Prayers your way!

  15. "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever." Psalm 136:1

Thank-you so much Heavenly Father for pouring your love out on each of us and answering our prayers for Ethan in your perfect time. Through good times and bad, we love you Father and we remain steadfast in your Word and in your love.

Is there, perhaps, an email address where I can send something a little more substantial than the "comments" section will allow for? I typed it up yesterday as I was praying for Ethan but, unfortunately, it was much too large to send via the "comment" section.

I understand if you don't want to post an address online here. So, if you feel comfortable, you can send it to my email address, jenlabelle@yahoo.com. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, I understand.

    You're in my continued prayers.

  18. PRAISE GOD!!!!!! I just got the update that Ethan was breathing on his own. I know that being able to hear him cry is like music to your ears. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about where he was just a few days ago and where he is now. We are soooo happy that he is doing so well and giving GOD ALL THE GLORY! He is so amazing! We love you guys and are still praying for continued blessings upon Ethan that he continues to improve, for little Helen and her understanding of everything that is going on with her little brother and for you two as well.
    Lots of Love and Prayers,
